At The Beer Stalker we think of the passion, history, and the flavors and the complexities of beer making around the world
As The official Beer Stalker, I have a great passion almost a ministry that takes you into a journey of beer enthusiasts. Beer is more complex than wine, and it is a personal challenge to convert wine drinkers into beer enthusiasts. I have traveled the world and explored locally to find the magic in the proper pour
I don't drink for intoxication, but instead I view it as a "trip" for the individual who is in tune with the complexities that is craft beer. To me, beer is a lifestyle. Beer is a social drink and I preach the flavor, origin, history, and the story of beer making. When you start to appreciate the finer qualities of an exquisite beer, the words of Sherlock Holmes resonate " The Game's afoot!"
The most magical beer drinking moment would be the time I was with Michael Jackson (Influential English journalist and author of books on beer and whisky) as I joined his press tour in London England for the release of his book, "The Great Beers of Belgium" our 10-year friendship before his death, were wonderful and educational. The most magical beer drinking moment would be the time I was with Michael Jackson (Influential English journalist and author of books on beer and whisky) as I joined his press tour in London England for the release of his book, "The Great Beers of Belgium" our 10-year friendship before his death, were wonderful and educational. Having sold over three million copies worldwide he is credited with starting a renaissance of interest in beer and outstanding breweries worldwide. He had no problem distinguishing who served "crap beer" and I can still hear him saying "Fancy a beer?" It was sad to shake his hand that last trip knowing he was ill, only to return to London from the USA just three weeks later for his funeral.
I would be honored to share education and my experiences concerning the passion of beer.
If you watched Discovery Channel program "the Beer Hunter" I tried to recreate
that show as my personal roadmap to attempt to travel to every brewery noted in that
series. I am honored to have left my name on a brick at the Bateman's new brew house in the UK, (https://batemansbrewery.co.uk).
Having the privilege to help brew some of my favorite beers such as "the mashing of
Samichlaus" Along with tasting the finest beer in Belgium, the UK, and locally in the USA, I have earned Beer Drinker of the Year in 2019, I have visited more that 500 breweries, tasted sum 20,000 beers, and traveled to 4 continents, and 12 countries to stalk the perfect pint
I do not hold regular hours. Have a great idea for an event? Do you want to know more about beer tours, travel, or connect with me for a chat.
